4.10 Why can’t I test my Alexa skill?

If you have trouble testing your Alexa skill, please make sure that:

  1. The Alexa device is connected with the same account that you are using on Ipervox. 
  2. The name of the skill (the invocation name) is not ‘too long, not easy to pronounce, etc’ and maybe when you say it, Alexa doesn’t recognize it.
  3. The name of the skill is in the same language of your Amazon Alexa profile ( ex. if the name of the skill is in English language, please choose from options the English language)
  4. you have enabled your Amazon Account Developer. 
  5. you have uploaded content to your Alexa skill.
  6. you have not created two Alexa skills with the same invocation name. 
  7. you have followed all the steps correctly while creating the Alexa skill
